Instrumental Ensembles

The WCSU Wind Ensemble is made up of select woodwind, brass, and percussion players along with a contrabass. Modeled on the wind section of a modern orchestra, the Wind Ensemble performs traditional and contemporary pieces for wind band, and frequently premieres new works. Selection for membership is by audition.

 

The Symphonic Band is an ensemble of wind and percussion players, performing traditional and contemporary works for wind band.

 

The WCSU Orchestra performs a diverse selection of repertoire from all periods and styles.
