Dr. Cory Ganschow

Assistant Professor of Music Dr. Cory Ganschow is Assistant Professor of Music at Western Connecticut University where she serves as Coordinator of Music Education and teaches classes in secondary music education as well as supervises student teachers. Ganschow also conducts the Concert Choir. She is extremely active as an adjudicator and clinician for secondary school choral programs and honor choirs on the east coast. Previously, as a choral director in the public schools, Ganschow led her choirs to numerous awards at state and national competitions. Before coming to WCSU, she served as an Instructor of Music Education and Choral Music at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance where she also acted as a facilitator of urban outreach, summer music programs in Kansas City. Ganschow is an active member of the American Choral Directors Association, College Music Society, National Association for Music Education, and the Phi Kappa Phi National Honors Society.
