Paul Garment
Adjunct Instructor of Music Paul Garment joined the faculty at WCSU in the Fall of 2009 and brings a lifetime of experience as a woodwind artist to the program. One of the most sought-after clarinetists in New York City, Mr. Garment performs regularly with the Long Island Philharmonic, the New York Symphonic Ensemble, the American Ballet Theatre Orchestra, the American Composers Orchestra, the American Symphony Orchestra, the Westchester Philharmonic, and the New York City Ballet Orchestra. In addition, he has held positions with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, and the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. Currently in the orchestra for the hit Disney musical Mary Poppins, Paul has been heard on Broadway with The Woman in White, Caroline or Change, Urinetown: The Musical, and Jekyll & Hyde. Paul was recently awarded a position in the Radio City Music Hall Orchestra. A graduate of the Curtis Institute, Mr. Garments teachers have included Donald Montanaro, Anthony Gigliotti, and Steve Hartman. Contact:garmentp@wcsu.edu
