Featuring The Danilo Perez Trio and Dafnis Prieto Trio with the WCSU Jazz Orchestra.

Each participating ensemble will perform a 20 - 25 minute set followed by a 30-minute clinic. Each ensemble will receive constructive feedback from outstanding professional jazz artists including Deborah Weisz, Dave Scott, Andrew Beals, Jeff Siegel, Dave Ruffels, Chris Morrison, Ed Joffe, Dafnis Prieto and Peter Tomlinson.

Master classes will be offered daily for rhythm section, trombone, trumpet and saxophone. On Friday, May 1st Dafnis Prieto will present a clinic covering his years of experience as an outstanding jazz percussionist and composer. On Saturday, May 2nd pianist Danilo Perez will present a special clinic of his own. Outstanding performers selected by the clinicians from each ensemble will be awarded scholarships to the WCSU Summer Music Camp.

Anticipated Schedule
