WCSU Men’s Baseball Team to host fundraising dinner
DANBURY, CONN. — The Western Connecticut State University Men’s Baseball Team will hold a dinner and silent auction to raise money for a 2013 Spring Break trip to Lakeland, Fl., where they will compete in nine games.
The dinner will be from 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2012, at the Westside Campus Center Ballroom on the university’s Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury. Tickets for the event are $25 and can be purchased by check made payable to WCSU Baseball Office/First Pitch Dinner, 181 White St., Danbury CT 06810. This buffet-style pasta dinner also will feature a 50/50 raffle and merchandise sales, along with the introduction of the 2013 baseball team.
