| NOV. 05 | Advocacy for Progressive Thinking, a WCSU student organization, will host "Guy Fawkes Day" from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Student Center Theater on the WestConn Midtown campus, 181 White St. in Danbury. WestConn students will be joined by students from Southern Connecticut State University and Quinnipiac University to discuss government power, civil liberties and the U.S. Constitution. Associate Professor of History and Non-Western Cultures Dr. Kevin Gutzman will be among the day's featured speakers. The event will be free and open to the public.
