Marketing 315: Social Networking for Non-profits
Students in WCSU’s Advertising and Integrated Marketing Communications class, taught by Marketing Professor Dr. John Cronin, spent a semester developing social networking plans for six non-profits in the region. The agencies, all members of the Greater Danbury Nonprofit Resource Center, reported that the programs implemented by their student teams resulted in increased visits, financial support and volunteerism. In addition, each agency has a foundation to continue the use of social networking sites to benefit their causes.
