Alice Aycock: Acceleration

At a reception for students and guests, New York City artist Alice Aycock discussed the concept and execution of “Acceleration,” the progressive design that hangs outside of the Westside Campus Center Ballroom. The sculpture is part of Connecticut’s Art in Public Spaces program, which requires all newly constructed public buildings to include a piece of artwork as part of the design.
