President's Lecture Series 2012: Dr. Lobsang Sangay

The 2012 President’s Lecture presented by Lobsang Sangay, Prime Minister of Tibet “Democracy in Exile: the case of Tibet” February 21, 2012 Ives Concert Hall, White Hall Western Connecticut State University Danbury, Connecticut Dr. Lobsang Sangay is currently the Kalon Tripa (equivalent to Prime Minister) of the Central Tibetan Administration based in Dharamsala, India. He was elected in 2011 after the Dalai Lama relinquished his political role in order to strengthen the democratic structure of the Tibetan movement.
