Menyanthes Trifoliata: painting unveiled
A representation of the water plant Menyanthes trifoliate, painted by artist Dorothy Buley, was installed in the lobby of the Science Building during a ceremony on Sept.19. Buley’s family members, who include Dr. Jean Kreizinger, professor emeritus in the department of biological and environmental sciences, were in attendance. Speakers included Kreizinger, WCSU President James W. Schmotter, Professor of Biological and Environmental Sciences Dr. Tom Philbrick and Buley, who discussed how she created the painting.
