Vice President Biden visits WCSU
February 21, 2013 DANBURY, CONN. — Vice President Joe Biden appeared at Western Connecticut State University as the keynote speaker at a conference on issues involving gun violence and mental health. The conference, hosted by U.S. Sens. Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy and U.S. Rep. Elizabeth Esty, attracted 400 residents, state and local politicians, mental health experts and faith leaders. The discussions focused on ways to reduce gun violence, protect children, and make our communities safer.
