Overnight Orientation
All new students are invited to attend our Overnight Orientation the evening before their scheduled orientation. The first 50 students to sign up and pay the $35 fee will be able to check in at 6pm the night before for an eventful evening of fun activities and games.
Overnight Orientation
Before you attend:
- It is extremely important that you have taken all of your placement exams if you need them (if you are not sure, contact the Admissions Office at admissions@wcsu.edu or call 203-837-9000).
- Send in the non-refundable $35 fee (check should be made out to WCSU, sent to 181 White Street, Danbury, CT 06810, Attn: Student Affairs) – make sure your name is on the check.
The evening of overnight orientation:
- Arrive after dinner at 6 p.m. the evening before your orientation day
- Check into Fairfield Hall (bring sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, extra set of clothes)
- Expect to have fun with other students in large group gatherings, small group events, fun activities and a pizza party around 10 p.m.
- A Resident Director and several Resident Assistants will be in the building to keep an eye on the activities
- Breakfast will be served in time for orientation check-in around 7:30 a.m.
