Cartus, a global corporation based in Danbury, regularly stages art shows for its employees so it made sense that the company would look to WestConn to supply artists for a representation of student work.
Paintings by Master of Fine Arts students graced the hallways and the walls of the Cartus cafeteria for several weeks.
“It’s great to be able to partner with WestConn,” said Lawrence Post, Cartus vice president of global facilities and a WestConn graduate. “We find it to be valuable for our employees.”
President Schmotter pointed out the benefits to students. “It’s a win-win,” he said. “It makes your workplace more attractive hopefully and our own student artists are always looking for someplace to show their work.”
