Western hosts Mission of Mercy dental clinic

More than 2,000 people received more than $1.2 million worth of free dental care over the weekend during the Connecticut Mission for Mercy clinic at Western, according to event organizers.

The clinic, which takes place in a different Connecticut city each year, included more than 1,600 volunteers who worked Friday and Saturday, March 23 and 24, 2012, on patients from as far away as Florida and New Hampshire.
