Softball Team hosts ‘Strike Out Cancer’ event

The WCSU Softball Team hosted a “Strike Out Cancer” event on April 7, 2012, during the team's double-header against Plymouth State on the softball field on the university's Westside campus.

Supporters were encouraged to make a monetary pledge for each strikeout thrown by a WCSU pitcher or a lump sum cash donation during the games that were donated to a local cancer charity.
