Haiti Relief Effort
In a recent e-mail President Schmotter asked the WCSU community to consider how we might respond to the seismic disaster in Haiti. While the earthquake has taken a physical toll on the people of Haiti, the resilience and spirit of our Haitian friends continues on. The 
Committee is reaching out in friendship and with the belief that Haiti can and will re-build. Our goal is to raise $50,000 for Yele Haiti. We’re asking everyone who attends or works at WCSU to contribute because we know that together we can make this happen!
Campus fundraising events and activities will be announced soon. If you or your group or department wish to participate in this university-wide effort, contact Carolyn Lanier at lanierc@wcsu.edu or Betsy McDonough at mcdonoughe@wcsu.edu. If you would like to make a monetary contribution, checks should be made to WCSU Haiti Fund. Cash and credit cards are also accepted. Let’s do it!
