International Students
Western Connecticut State University welcomes applications from international students who reside outside the United States. To receive an International Student Packet call, write, or email WestConn's Office of Admissions. This packet contains an admissions application, TOEFL information (see below), an Affidavit of Support, and a transcript evaluation form. Call (203) 837-9000 for more information.
You will need to take the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam and achieve a score of at least 550 on the paper-based test, 213 on the computer-based exam.
All new students planning to enter the University in the fall must submit application materials before March 1. Students wishing to enroll in the spring must submit all materials before October 1.
Students already enrolled in a U.S. college or university should submit admission materials as outlined in the Admissions Application Procedure.

The International Services Coordinator assists international students with personal, academic, social and financial matters.
