Application for Graduation
Please complete this form and submit it to the Registrar's Office, located on the first floor of Old Main on the University's Midtown Campus. It may also be sent via mail to Western Connecticut State University, Registrar's Office, 181 White Street, Danbury, CT 06810.

A student is eligible for the bachelor or associate degree upon successful completion of general education, the major, and total elective credit requirements for that degree as specified by their department. In order to graduate all coursework must be completed, including any incomplete grades.
A cumulative grade-point
average of at least 2.0 or higher for all credits attempted
at WestConn is required for graduation, as well as a
grade-point average of 2.0
or higher in all courses for the major. Certain programs have a
higher minimum
standard; check with your advisor about these. In addition, at
least 30 credits and
at least half of the major requirements must be completed at
WestConn. All Incomplete
grades must be completed within four weeks after the graduation date;
after that time
the degree will be forwarded to the following graduation term.
Undergraduates
who will be within eight credits of those required for the degree are
eligible to participate in the May commencement exercises if they
have applied for
August graduation and intend to complete the eight credits during
the summer.
