| Tuesday, August 7, 2007 | Clean Access Servers upgraded from version 4.1.1 to version 4.1.2. The new clean access agent version number is 4.1.2. |
| Friday, July 27, 2007 | Centennial Residence Hall is now a Wireless Hotspot with full coverage. |
| Tuesday, June 5, 2007 | Clean Access Servers have been upgraded from version 4.1.0.1 to 4.1.1. This version now supports Windows Vista Operating System. Upgrade of Clean Access Agent to 4.1.1.0 is mandatory. |
| Tuesday, December 26, 2006 | Clean Access Servers upgraded from version 4.0.3.1 to 4.1.0. This version support latest versions of various antivirus software |
| Thursday, August 21, 2006 | Thursday, August 31, 2006 Clean Access Servers upgraded to newer release 4.0.3.1. Current Clean Access Agent patch version is 4.0.2.0. |
| Wednesday, January 18, 2006 | Clean Access Servers upgraded to newer release 3.5.8. Current Clean Access Agent patch version is 3.5.11. |
| Monday, September 12, 2005 | New patch for Clean Access Agent, version 3.5.7 is now out. Please upgrade. New patch not only fixes bugs but also add enhancement features to existing program. If you are running a personal Firewall (Norton, McAfee, etc.), make sure you select 'Permit All' for this program. Most Firewalls at the time of new program installation give you this choice to either permit or block the program. Always select 'Permit/Allow' for Clean Access Agent |

| Monday, June 6, 2005 | Students notified by flyers about the anti-virus requirement. As a security measure, WestConn will be requiring ResNet Windows users have one of the major virus scan software packages installed and updated: McAfee, Symantec Norton, or TrendMicro are all acceptable anti-virus clients. We allow a number of other anti-virus clients. No need to purchase software-- WestConn has purchased, for all students, McAfee virus scan which can be downloaded free at http://www.wcsu.edu/antivirus. |
| Wednesday, June 1, 2005 | 10am cut off for old version of SmartEnforcer. Students must uninstall SmartEnforcer and install Cisco Clean Access Agent. Please note: Any ResNet users staying in the residence halls this summer or returning in the fall must install Cisco Clean Access Agent to connect to the WestConn network. |
| Tuesday, May 24, 2005 | Students will be notified by a "pop up" to upgrade to CiscoClean Access Agent. All students must uninstall the current version of SmartEnforcer and install Cisco Clean Access Agent. Don't worry--you have until 10am on June 1st to install Cisco Clean Access Agent. |
| Monday, May 23, 2005 | WestConn Servers Upgraded to Cisco Clean Access version 3.4.0. From 1pm to 4pm in the residence halls, students will not have access to the WestConn network. The Midtown and Westside Computer Centers will be available. |
