NORTH DARTMOUTH, MA (Nov. 1) — Tuesday's Little East Conference Field Hockey Tournament Quarterfinals have been moved to Wednesday, November 2. Game time has also been pushed up to 1 pm.
The entire LEC Tournament format has changed to a Wednesday (Quarterfinals), Friday (Semifinals) and Sunday (Championship) format due to the extreme weather, affecting several teams in the tournament.
The seedings for the 2011 Little East Conference Field Hockey Championship has been determined by LEC Commissioner Jonathan Harper.
A "no contest" has been declared for the Western Connecticut-Southern Maine match that was to be played today, but the extreme weather conditions in Connecticut cancelled all chances to play the game.
