John Mihalko is in his second year on the Colonials' football staff. He will be coaching the Defensive Line for the this upcoming season.

Mihalko played his college football at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. He was a member of the 2004-07 Bantams when the team amassed a combined record of 29-3. He was named to the All-NESCAC and ECAC First Teams during the'06 and '07 seasons.

For the two seasons prior to coming to Western, Mihalko coached at Plymouth State University in Plymouth, New Hampshire. In his first season, the Panthers made the NCAA Division III playoffs. In his second year, he coached the defensive line and had two linemen reap All-New England Football Conference First-Team honors.

He is single and is a native of Shelton, Conn.
