Ernie Ricco enters his third year on the Western Connecticut State University football staff.

After two years on the offensive side, as the Running Backs Coach, he moves to defense to coach in the secondary as the Safeties Coach.

Before entering the collegiate coaching ranks in 2009, Ricco spent 14 seasons at various levels as a position coach for receivers, quarterbacks, defensive backs, an Offensive and Defensive Coordinator and as a Head Coach.

A graduate of Southern Connecticut State University, Ricco lives in Wilton, CT, is married and is the father of six children ages 20, 19, 18, 17, seven and six. He devotes his time to family, community, sports, government and work.
