Nick Washburn is beginning his first season on the Colonials' staff as the Running Backs and Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Prior to coming to Western, Washburn spent three season as an assistant for the two-time Section IX Class B champion Ellenville Blue Devils from 2007 to 2009. In 2010, he was an assistant with the Section V Class AA runner-up Webster Schroeder Warriors.

Prior to coaching, Washburn was a starting quarterback at Palmyra-Macedon High School and played two seasons at Cortland State.

He currently holds a master's degree in Physical Education and Coaching through Cortland.
