Deanne Mastrocola anchored the Western Connecticut defensive attack this past week, leading the Colonials to a shutout win against Wheelock College. The senior back from Goshen, Conn. helped Western Connecticut hold the Wildcats scoreless for 70 minutes, while also contributing to the offensive rush with a goal and three assists.
