Connor Falaguerra named New Jersey Athletic Conference Offensive Rookie of the Week for the second time this season.

PITMAN, NJ (Sep. 23) —  For the second time this season, Western Connecticut freshman wide receiver Connor Falaguerra (Milford, CT) has been named New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week, for the week ending September 22. It is the second time, the Jonathan Law High School graduate has received the honor.

Offensive Rookie of the Week

Connor Falguerra earns NJAC Offensive Rookie of the Week honors for the second time this season after
leading the Colonials in receiving during a 30-24 NJAC defeat to Rowan.

In just the second NJAC game of his collegiate career, he caught eight passes for 127 yards and two touchdowns of 5 and 65 yards apiece. His 65-yard scoring strike came just two minutes prior to halftime and gave Western Connecticut a 21-20 lead at intermission.

Falguerra currently ranks second in the NJAC in receiving yards (79.3 per game).
