Mike Toscano
Special Teams Coordinator - Linebackers

Mike Toscano began the first three years of his coaching career as both the Varsity Linebacker Coach and Head Junior Varsity Coach at West Orange High School in Winter Garden, FL. from 2007 to 2009.

A 2001 graduate of Western Connecticut, Toscano returned to his alma mater in 2010 and has been the Linebacker Coach for the Colonials for the last two seasons.

Entering his third season at Western Connecticut, Toscano returns as the Linebacker Coach and assumes the Special Teams Coordinator duties for the 2012 campaign.

During his playing career at Western Connecticut (1999 - 01), Toscano led the Colonials to a 28-4 overall record. A three-year starter and two time team captain, (2000 & 2001) Toscano was also named an All-American middle linebacker in 1999 & 2000. As a proud member of the first team in school history to win a Division III playoff game in 2001, Toscano couldn't be more excited about the future of the program.

Toscano received his bachelor's degree in Communications and lives in Danbury with his fiancé, Melissa.
