DaQuan Brooks named ECAC Division III Men's Player of the Week

CENTERVILLE, MA (Jan. 17) — Western Connecticut State University senior guard DaQuan Brooks (Atlanta, GA) has been named ECAC Men's Division III Basketball Player of the Week, for the week ending January 15.

Brooks became Western’s all-time scorer last week, averaging 35.5 points per game during a 1-1 week for the Colonials. The senior scored a career-high 46 points, 30 of which came in the second half, in a 94-87 win over Keene State. Brooks became the career leading scorer for the Colonials with a traditional 3-point play with six minutes remaining in the first half in a loss at Plymouth State. He finished the game with 25 points.
