MINNEAPOLIS, MN (Oct. 24) — The Western Connecticut State University men's basketball team is Also Receiving Votes in the 2011-12 D3hoop.com Pre-Season Top 25 Poll, released on Monday.

The D3hoops.com men's basketball preseason Top 25 features five teams getting No. 1 votes, with Virginia Wesleyan taking the No. 1 spot after a 2010-11 season in which the Marlins went 25-5, falling in the Sweet 16 by six points at Williams. The Marlins return all five starters.
