Paxton Thornton named to AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention Team
DANBURY, CT (Nov. 11) —
Western Connecticut State University junior outside hitter Paxton Thornton (Sharon, CT) has been named to the 2011 American Volleyball Coaches Association All-New England Honorable Mention Team.
This past season, Thornton led the Colonials through a 24-9 season. She registered 525 kills and had a .281 hitting percentage. In her third season, Thornton tallied 264 digs, 29 aces and a total of 66 blocks.
