Amy Svatik begins her fourth season as a Volunteer Assistant Coach at Western.

Amy came to the Colonials after recently moving back to Connecticut from Florida, where she had been working for the past four years.

Svatik, a native of Stratford, CT, is a 2005 graduate of Westfield State College where she played volleyball for four seasons. In 2004, she finished her career as a team Captain from her libero position with numerous awards and accolades including Second Team All-MASCAC honors in 2002 and 2003. She was honored on the All-MASCAC First Team following her final campaign.

Aside from her involvement as a player at WSC, Svatik helped coach the Valley Massachusetts Volleyball Club, was the Co-Chair for the Westfield State Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) and served on the Westfield State College Athletic Director Search Committee in 2005.
