Jennifer Ouellet enters her seventh season as the Head Coach of the Western Connecticut State University Women’s Lacrosse team.

In her first two seasons, the Colonials posted records of 2-14 and 2-12, and 1-5 in Little East Conference action both seasons. Under Ouellet's guidance however, Western has improved to post records of 10-6 and 9-9 overall in the past two seasons, and a 3-3 record in the Little East Conference.

Ouellet, a former field hockey and lacrosse standout and 2002 graduate of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, comes to Western after two seasons as the Corsairs’ Head Field Hockey Coach.

She attended and graduated from the NCAA Women’s Coaches Academy.

In 2004, she began her collegiate coaching career as an Assistant Coach for the UMass Dartmouth women’s lacrosse team.

Ouellet enjoyed a distinguished athletic career at UMass Dartmouth from 1998 through 2002. The 1998 Little East Conference Rookie of the Year, Ouellet was also a LEC All-Conference, All-Tournament and Outstanding Athletic Achievement winner during the 1999 season. A 2000 Outstanding Athletic Achievement winner for a second year, Burrows was selected as team captain for the Corsiars during her senior season of 2002.

In January, 2010, Jennifer married Western's head men's lacrosse coach Jason Ouellet, and in July of 2011 they welcomed Ryder Ouellet to the Western Lacrosse family.
