Will Face UMass Dartmouth in Quarterfinals of NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Eastern Connecticut State University boasted an unbeaten 6-0 mark inside the conference circuit to earn the top-seed in the upcoming 2008 Little East Conference Women’s Lacrosse Championship Tournament. The Warriors will have home-field advantage throughout the tournament fray. The University of Southern Maine earned the second bye into the semifinal round on the strength of a 5-1 mark in conference action. The seventh annual Little East Conference Women’s Lacrosse Tournament begins on Tuesday, April 29, when UMass Dartmouth and Keene State College host first-round contests. The Corsairs and WestConn, two teams that faced each other this past Saturday, will meet in the #4 vs. #5 seed pairing on Tuesday. The third seeded Owls will host sixth-seeded Rhode Island College, in the quarterfinals. The semifinals of the tournament fray will be played at Eastern Connecticut and the University or Southern Maine on Thursday, May 1. The Warriors welcome the winner of the UMass Dartmouth vs. Western Connecticut State University contest, while the Huskies host the winner of the Keene State vs. Rhode Island College game. WESTERN CONNECTICUT DEFEATS ELMS COLLEGE, 19-4 CHICOPEE, MA, April 23, 2008 – Elms College senior attack Caitlin Childs (Hingham, MA) netted a pair of goals and added an assist, but Western Connecticut State University senior attack Ashley Caruso (Northport, NY) scored a game-high five goals and the Colonials scored seven of the game’s first eight goals en route to a 19-4 win over the Blazers in Wednesday’s non-conference women’s lacrosse game at Leary Field.Western Connecticut won its fourth straight game and improved to 4-12 overall. Elms College concluded its 2008 season 4-9. Caruso erupted for four of the Colonials’ first seven goals – her 34th, 35th, 36th and 37th tallies of the year – in the game’s opening 14:43. Childs, who scored both of her goals in the first half, added her career-high 37th goal of the year to cut the Blazers’ deficit to 7-2 with 12:25 left in the first half. From there, however, Western Connecticut rolled off nine unanswered goals to take control. Sophomore midfielder Whitney Fairchild (New Milford, CT) scored three goals, while sophomore midfielder Kara Kruczkiewicz (Brookfield, CT), sophomore defender Michelle Dombrowski (Hamden, CT), freshman midfielder Catherine Haase (Middlebury, CT) and freshman midfielder Cathryne Hunton (Brookfield, CT) tallied two goals apiece for the Colonials in the winning effort. Western Connecticut freshman goalkeeper Erin Tarsi (Danbury, CT) stopped four shots to earn her first win of the year, while Elms College junior goalkeeper Alicia Bobbie (Higganum, CT) finished with 15 saves. WESTERN CONNECTICUT TAKES WIN OVER RAMAPO, 12-7 from the desk of Kate Levin - Ramapo SID Office Mahwah, NJ: (April 21) - The Ramapo College women’s lacrosse team dropped a tough 12-7 decision to the Colonials of Western Connecticut today at the Athletic Center to fall to1-8 overall. With the victory, Western Connecticut improves to 3-12. Sarah Clayton (Howell, NJ), who scored three goals in the game for Ramapo, opened the scoring just under two minutes into the game to give the Roadrunners a 1-0 edge. Jessica Majeski (Norwalk, CT) tied the game just one minute later on a unassisted goal before Kara Kruczkiewicz (Brookfield, CT) gave Western Connecticut a 2-1 lead with an unassisted goal of her own at 4:20. The Colonials would lead for the remainder of the game taking a 6-4 advantage at the intermission. Whitney Farchild (New Milford, CT), Ashley Caruso (Northport, CT), and Kruczkiewicz, all added goals for the Colonials in the first half of play while Clayton put in two more for Ramapo, and Jenna Pfarr (Cranford, NJ) added another. In the final half of the game, Western Connecticut out scored Ramapo, 5-3 to take the 12-7 victory in the non-conference match-up. Farchild put two in the back of the net while Caitlin Everin (Glastonbury, CT) recorded three of her own. Ramapo’s Pfarr, Casandra Hartline (Kinnelon, NJ) and Melody Oostdk (West Milford, NJ) all earned points for Ramapo. Sophomore goalkeeper Angela Vargas (Stonington, CT) recorded the win playing the full 60 minutes, blocking four Ramapo shots. Megan Tierney (Wayne, NJ) let up all 12 goals in the game and stopped 16. Western Connecticut out shot Ramapo, 45-18 on the day.

DANBURY, CT (Apr. 19) – WestConn’s lone graduating senior, Caitlin Everin (Glastonbury, CT), was honored prior to this afternoon’s game and responded with four points (three goals and one assist) as Western Connecticut State University posted its second straight win by routing Little East Conference rival Rhode Island College 23-10 Saturday afternoon at the WestConn Athletic Complex. Leading the WestConn scoring attack were sophomore Kara Kruczkiewicz (Brookfield, CT) who had eight points on five goals and three assists, and senior Ashley Caruso (Northport, NY) who recorded seven points on six goals and one assist. Also scoring for WestConn were sophomore Whitney Fairchild (New Milford, CT) with five goals, sophomore Jessica Majeski (Norwalk, CT) with two goals, and sophomore Michelle Dombrowski (Hamden, CT) and junior Lindsey Taylor (Brookfield, CT) who each scored one goal for the victorious Colonials. For Rhode Island College, Sherri Heard (Coventry, RI) led with four goals, followed by Kerry McDevitt (Jamestown, RI) with three, Emily Conte (North Providence, RI) with two, and Suany Almonte (Warwick, RI) who scored once in a losing effort for the Anchorwomen. Rhode Island College got on the board first in the game’s second minute on a goal by McDevitt. The Colonials then scored three goals in less than one minutes (two by Caruso and one by Kruczkiewicz) to take a 3-1 lead. RIC’s Conte scored to cut the lead to 3-2, but Caruso and Kruczkiewicz responded again to extend WestConn’s lead to 5-2. At the 16:24 mark Heard scored for Rhode Island College, but eight consecutive WestConn goals over the next 10 minutes dashed any hopes the Anchorwomen had of mounting a comeback. WestConn’s lead at the half was 15-6. Rhode Island College again scored quickly to start the second half, but the Colonials answered with three straight goals to push the advantage to 18-7. The Anchorwomen refused to quit and scored three goals in three minutes mid-way through the second half, but WestConn turned up the intensity on defense and scored the game’s final five goals making the final score 23-10. Sophomore Angela Vargas (Stonington, CT) made 16 saves and earns her second victory of the season in goal for the Colonials, while Hilary Switzer (Woonsocket, RI) takes the loss for the RIC. With this afternoon’s victory WestConn’s record stands at 2-12 (1-4 in the Little East Conference), while Rhode Island College falls to 3-8 (1-4 LEC). WestConn travels to Ramapo

Lead WestConn To First Win Of The 2008 Season
DANBURY, CT (Apr. 17) – Senior co-captain Ashley Caruso (Northport, NY) scored five goals and senior co-captain Caitlin Everin (Glastonbury, CT) scored four as Western Connecticut State University posted its first win of the season by defeating Framingham State 15-5 Thursday afternoon at the WestConn Athletic Complex. Also scoring for WestConn were junior Whitney Fairchild (New Milford, CT) with three goals, while sophomore Michelle Dombrowski (Hamden, CT), sophomore Kara Kruczkiewicz (Brookfield, CT), and sophomore Jessica Majeski (Norwalk, CT) each scored one goal for the victorious Colonials. Framingham State’s Stephanie Corrales (Framingham, MA), Kristen Giusti (Hopkinton, MA), Sam Laferriere ( Billerica, MA), Caitlin Myers (Weymouth, MA), and Ashley Noonan (Easton, MA) each scored a single goal in a losing effort for the Rams. WestConn took control early, scoring in the game’s first minute when Dombrowski took a pass from Everin and delivered a quick shot to the back of the net. In the second minute of play, the Colonials struck again when Whitney Fairchild scored an unassisted goal. When Caruso scored her second goal at the 16:47 mark, WestConn took a commanding 5-0 lead. Both teams traded goals over the next 15 minutes to make the half-time score 8-3. WestConn again scored quickly to start the second half with three goals in the first five minutes, two by Everin and one by Kruczkiewicz. Framingham State scored twice in the second half, but the Colonials scored the game’s final three goals to make the final margin of victory 15-5. Vassar College Defeats WestConn 14-4 in Women’s Lacrosse Action DANBURY, CT – (April 15) – Four different Vassar College players scored two goals apiece as the Brewers defeated Western Connecticut State University, 14-4 in a non-league women's lacrosse match at the WestConn Athletic Complex Tuesday afternoon. The visitors raced out to an 11-2 halftime lead and employed a controlled offensive scheme over the final 30 minutes. Allie Morgan (Nashua, NH), Moe Byrne (Lindenhurst, NY), Julie Lehman (Concord, NH) and Christine Castellan (Media, PA) each found the back of the net twice as Vassar College improved to 8-2 on the season. Morgan and Byrne paced the Brewers with three and two assists, respectively. Kara Kruczkiewicz (Brookfield, CT) scored all four unassisted goals for the Colonials, now 0-12 on the season.

FRESHMEN LEAD OWLS OVER COLONIALS 21-5 KEENE, N.H. 4/12/08 – Keene State freshmen accounted for 14 of the teams goals in the Owls’ 21-5 Little East Conference women’s lacrosse victory over Western Connecticut State University at Owl Athletic Complex on Saturday. Winners of four straight, Keene State (7-4, 3-0 LEC), which netted a season high 21 goals on Saturday, has scored 20 or more goals in its last three games. The Owls took control early, going up 5-0 just 6:37 into the game. Freshman Jill Kirk (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) netted two of KSC goal in the early uprising. Keene State went up 7-1 before WCSU scored three consecutive goals. Free position goals by Ashley Caruso (Northport, N.Y.) and Whitney Fairchild (New Milford, Conn.) made it a 7-4 game at the 21:11 mark of the first half. But it was all Keene State from there. The Owls scored the next four goals to take an 11-4 halftime lead and tact on eight unanswered goals in the second half to go up 19-4. One of 10 freshmen on the Owls’ roster, Jenny Lillis (West Islip, N.Y.) led the KSC attack with five goals. "Over the past few games the offense has really started to gel, "said Lillis, second of the team in scoring with 26 goals and 32 points. "When we get on the field, we just rip it." Fellow freshman Kirk finished the game with four goals and Lauren Sawyer (Westbrook, Me.) tallied two goals and five assists. Emily Persano (Somers, Conn.), Dene Tully (Peabody, Mass.), and Mazzotta had two goals each, and Andrea Mitchell (Bow, N.H.), Merrill Simone (West Hartford, Conn.), Molly Corcoran (Concord, N.H.), and Missy Luzzi (Oakland, N.J.) chipped in with single goals. Caruso led the Colonials (0-11, 0-4 LEC with two goals. KSC goalie Jen Gearing (Westfield, Mass.) made six save. Meghan Ledoux (Standish, Me.) played the final 17 minutes and stopped two shots. Southern Maine Jumps Out Quickly, Downs Western Conn. 14-5 PORTLAND, Maine -- Junior Caitlin Albert (Scarborough, Maine) scored a game-high five goals to pace the University of Southern Maine Huskies to a 14-5 victory over the Western Connecticut State University Colonials in a Little East Conference women's lacrosse game played Saturday at Deering High School. The win was the second straight for the Huskies who improve to 2-5 overall and 1-1 in the conference. The Colonials, still searching for their first win, fall to 0-9 overall and 0-3 in the LEC. Sophomore Jessica Knight (Alfred, Maine/Massabesic) added three goals and an assist to support Albert. Senior Justene Dorr (Gorham, Maine/Kimball Union) and freshman Kristy Kendrick (Waterboro, Maine/Massabesic) each chipped in with two goals. Senior goalie Katie Quartuccio (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Millbrook) played a strong game registering 15 saves. Senior Caitlin Everin (Glastonbury, Conn.) had two goals to lead the Colonials. Sophomore goalie Angela Vargas (Stonington, Conn.) was credited with nine saves. The Huskies took command early as Albert, Knight and Kendrick scored goals in the opening two minutes of play. Albert scored two more, and Knight once, to push the advantage to 6-0 before the Colonials got on the board on a goal from Everin off a feed from junior Whitney Fairchild (New Milford, Conn.) with 13:31 to play. The first half ended with the Huskies comfortably ahead 10-2. In the second half, junior Ashley Caruso (Northport, N.Y.) and Everin scored consecutive goals to get the Colonials within seven, 11-4, with 17:35 to play, but the Huskies got goals 44 seconds apart from Albert and freshman Michelle Kozma (Pittston, Maine/Gardiner) to reestablish control. Southern Maine is back in action Monday night (7:00 p.m.) when it hosts Curry College in a non-conference game at Fitzpatrick Stadium in Portland. Western Connecticut will host Western New England College on Thursday (4:00 p.m.)

DANBURY, CT (Apr. 2) – Eastern Connecticut State University scored the game’s first three goals and never looked back in a 22-8 win over in-state and Little East Conference rival Western Connecticut State University Wednesday afternoon at the WestConn Athletic Complex. Kara Kruczkiewicz (Brookfield, CT) led WestConn on offense with four goals, followed by two goals from senior Caitlin Everin (Glastonbury, CT). Also scoring for the Colonials were junior Whitney Fairchild (New Milford, CT), and sophomore Jessica Majeski (Norwalk, CT) who each scored one goal. Kruczkiewicz has now scored 27 goals on the season to lead the Colonials. Leading the offensive attack for Eastern Connecticut was Brooke Wayte (Bellport, NY) who scored four goals. Megan Gloster (Agawam, MA) and Lily Anderson (Portland, ME) contributed three goals each for the victorious Warriors. Megan Gloster led Eastern Connecticut with four assists. Eastern Connecticut took control of the game early by scoring three goals in the game’s first nine minutes. Kara Kruczkiewicz got WestConn on the board at the 20:54 mark of the first half with an unassisted goal, but Eastern pulled away to take a 9-5 lead at intermission. Eastern Connecticut maintained the intensity to start the second half, scoring on the first possession after only 20 seconds of play. By the time the final horn sounded, Eastern had scored 12 more goals to take the victory by the final score of 22-8. Mount Saint Vincent Ends Losing Skid With Home Win

YONKERS, NY - The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women's Lacrosse team stopped a three game losing streak on Monday with a 20-11 win over Western Connecticut (0-7). Cyndi Adams (Mechanicsville, MD) and Kelly Martin (Stony Point, NY) led the Mount with four goals each, as the Dolphins showed five players with at least two goals in the game. The 20 goal output is a season high for the Dolphins. Mount Saint Vincent jumped out to an 8-0 lead with 19:29 left in the opening half, before Western Connecticut got on the board with just under 17:00 left in the period. From there, Jessie Mitchell (Suffern, NY), Adams and Martin scored three straight to push the Mount out in front by an 11-1 score with 11:44 left in the opening period. Mitchell and Erin Woerner (Kings Park, NY) would score within the last five minutes of the half for the Mount as the Dolphins would take a commanding 13-3 lead into the half. Western Connecticut would out score the Dolphins 8-7 in the second period, with Jessica Majeski netting four goals in the period. Kara Kruczkiewicz also had a strong game for Western Connecticut, as she tallied five times and added an assist. Adams finished the day with seven points for the Dolphins, as she added three assists to her four goals and Martin added one helper to her four marker day. Mitchell with three goals and Stacie Tripp (Glen Cove, NY) and Woerner with two goals each were the other Dolphins with multi-goal games. Alexis Alessi (Rockville Centre, NY) led the team with four groundballs, while Katie Tucci (Baldwinsville, NY) collected three groundballs and caused two turnovers to go along with an assist on the day. Jackie Horn (Setauket, NY) earned the win in goal for the Dolphins after making nine saves, including six in the first half. Horn also collected a groundball in the winning effort. Overall in the contest, the Dolphins held the edge in shots 29-25, groundballs 20-14 and draw controls 18-15. Turnovers in the game were even at 14 apiece. Western Connecticut converted 4-10 on free position shots; while Mount Saint Vincent converted the only attempt it was awarded.

Plymouth State, 12-10, in LEC Opener DANBURY, CT (Mar. 28) – With Plymouth State leading 11-4 and just over 15 minutes remaining in the game, Western Connecticut State University staged a dramatic comeback led by sophomore Kara Kruczkiewicz (Brookfield, CT), but fell short of victory losing 12-10 in the Little East Conference opener for both teams Friday evening at the WestConn Athletic Complex. Kruczkiewicz’s four goals led the Colonials, followed by three goals from senior Caitlin Everin (Glastonbury, CT). Also scoring for WestConn were senior Ashley Caruso (Northport, NY), sophomore Jessica Majeski (Norwalk, CT), and junior Lindsey Taylor (Brookfield, CT) who each scored one goal. Leading the offensive attack for the Panthers was Sarah Bryant (Arrowsic, ME) who scored five goals, all in the first half of play. Also scoring for Plymouth State were Kalie Judd (Peabody, MA) with three goals, Kerry D’Ambroise (Lowell, MA) with two, and Rhiannon Goff (Nashua, NH) and Ellen Parent (Hampton, NH) who each scored once. Kalie Judd led Plymouth State with three assists. Plymouth State scored on the first possession of the game and appeared to be in control when Sarah Bryant scored her fifth goal with 1:14 remaining in the first half. Caitlin Everin scored for the Colonials with 30 seconds left on the clock to make the halftime score 7-4 in favor of Plymouth State. The Panthers scored the first four goals of the second half to hold an 11-4 lead at the 17:16 mark of the second half. WestConn scored six of the game’s final seven goals (four by Kara Kruczkiewicz), but Plymouth State was able to control the ball for most of the game’s final two minutes to secure the 12-10 victory. WestConn Falls to
Kean University, 23-12
UNION, NJ (Mar. 13) – Three different WestConn players scored hat-tricks against Kean University, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Kean’s offense in a 23-12 loss. Senior Caitlin Everin (Glastonbury, CT), sophomore Kara Kruczkiewicz (Brookfield, CT), and sophomore Jessica Majeski (Norwalk, CT) each scored three goals lead Western Connecticut State University, but the Colonials didn’t have an answer for Kean’s Rosalia Romeo who scored nine goals, dropping WestConn to 0-3 on the season. Also scoring for WestConn were senior Ashley Caruso (Northport, NY) with two goals and sophomore Whitney Fairchild (New Milford, CT) who scored one goal. Kean rushed out to an early 6-1 lead, of which three goals were scored by Romeo, and went to the locker room with a 15-6 lead at intermission. Kara Kruczkiewicz scored the first goal of the second half looking to change the momentum for the Colonials, but Kean’s half-time margin proved too large and WestConn fell by the final score of 23-12. WestConn’s next game will
be on Wednesday, March 19th, in Dallas, Texas, for a
game against Salve Regina at the University of
Dallas. Game time is slated for 11:00am. The
Colonials’ next home game will be on Friday, March
28th, in a matchup against Little East Conference

Warriors claim top spot in preseason coaches’ poll PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Eastern Connecticut State University women’s lacrosse team sits atop the 2008 Little East Conference women’s lacrosse preseason coaches’ poll, released this afternoon by the conference office. The Warriors earned all six possible first place votes for 36 total points. Plymouth State University edged Keene State College by a single vote for the second position in the annual poll. All seven head coaches in the Little East Conference cast a vote, but could not select their own squads. The Panthers received the final first place ballot. Under the leadership of Head Coach Christine Hutchison, Eastern Connecticut State University recorded the program’s second Little East Conference Championship Tournament title last season, earning the automatic qualifier into the NCAA Tournament. The 2007 Warriors posted a 13-6 overall record, including an unblemished 6-0 mark in the conference circuit. Eastern Connecticut welcomes back three all-conference recipients from last spring, including first-team senior attacker Lily Anderson (Portland, Maine). The Warriors travel to in-state rival Wesleyan University at 4 p.m. on March 7 for their 2008 season-opener. Plymouth State University has earned a postseason appearance the past eight campaigns, including winning the 2007 ECAC New England Tournament. Last season, Head Coach Abi Jackson led the Panthers to 14-5 overall record, finishing second in the Little East Conference at 5-1. Sophomore attacker Taylor Cambal (West Yarmouth, Mass.) is Plymouth State’s top returning scorer, registering 32 points (28-5) during her freshman campaign, and will lead a young offensive attack. The Panthers take the pitch at 3 p.m. on March 7 at Babson College. Keene State College finished last season ranked third in the final Little East Conference standings with a 4-2 record to earn the No.3 seed in the conference tournament. Head Coach Michelle Mason and her Owls fell in to the semifinal round of the Little East Conference Tournament to the Panthers, marking their sixth semifinal appearance. Keene State returns two of its top three scorers from 2007, while also sporting all-conference, second-team backstop Jen Gearing (Westfield, Mass.). The Owls host Endicott College at 5 p.m. on March 5 in their season-opener. UMass Dartmouth (18), the University of Southern Maine (15), and Rhode Island College (14) are just separated by four points in the second tier of the conference standings. Katelyn Elliot, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth PROVIDENCE, R.I. —The Little East Conference office announced its annual women’s lacrosse awards this afternoon after a vote by the conference seven coaches. University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth senior attacker Katelyn Elliot (Lowell, Mass.) and Rhode Island College senior attacker Caitlin Gavin (Portsmouth, R.I.) were named Co-Offensive Players of the Year, while Plymouth State University senior Kelsey MacDonald (Oak Bluffs, Mass.) was tabbed the Defensive Player of the Year. University of Southern Maine freshman attacker Jessica Knight (Alfred, Maine) and Eastern Connecticut State University freshman attacker Taylor MacDonald (Oak Bluffs, Mass.) earned Co-Rookie of the Year honors, while Eastern Connecticut State Head Coach Christine Jeffrey was tabbed Coach of the Year. Elliot is making her third appearance on the All-Little East Conference teams, including her second straight on the first-team. The senior attacker paced the conference circuit in points per game (4.86) and assists per game (1.64), while ranking second in goals per game (3.21). Elliot scored at least four points in a game seven times this season, registering 11 goals three times. She most recently matched her season-high in points at Rhode Island College on April. 22. Making her fourth consecutive appearance on the All-Little East Conference first-team, Gavin received Co-Offensive Player of the Year recognition for the first time in her career. She sits atop the conference standings in goals per game (3.71), while ranking second in ground balls per game (4.50) and draw controls (58). Gavin’s 4.43 points per game were third-best in the Little East. She registered a conference single-game high of 13 points, on eight goals and five assists, at Elms on April 9. Gavin leaves campus holding almost every statistical record in Rhode Island College lacrosse history. She is the career scoring leader, netting 279 goals, handing out 45 helpers, and collecting 324 points. Kelsey MacDonald, a two-time Little East Conference Defensive Player of the Year selection, is making her third straight appearance on the All-Conference first-team. The three-time Little East Conference Defensive Player of the Week award winner leads the conference circuit in caused turnovers per game (3.00), draw controls per game (5.24), and ground balls per game (4.88), while ranking fourth in goals per game (2.71) and points per game (3.65). MacDonald reached double digits in draw controls three times this season, including a season-high 11 against Allegheny on March 20. She collected a season-high 10 ground balls against Keene State in the semifinal round of the 2007 Little East Conference Tournament. MacDonald also contributed to the offensive rush, registering five or more points five times this season. Knight is the first University of Southern Maine student-athlete to earn Rookie of the Year honors in the program’s history. She eclipsed the 40-point barrier in her first collegiate campaign, scoring 31 goals and handing out 11 helpers for 42 points. Knight also earned All-Little East Conference second-team honors for her impressive play in the midfield. She reached multiple points in 10 of her 15 games on the season, including a season-high six points at Hollins University on March 28. Knight netted the game-winning goal two times, most recently at Lasell on April 19. She was named the Rookie of the Week once on the campaign. Taylor MacDonald is just the second Eastern Connecticut State University women’s lacrosse student-athlete in the past three years to earn the conference’s top rookie award. She is also making her debut on the All-Little East Conference second-team. Taylor MacDonald was third on the Warriors in assists (17), while ranking sixth in points (31) and seventh in goals (14). She scored at least a point in 15 of her 18 games this season, including collecting a season-high five points at Southern Maine on March 31. In her first season at the helm of the Eastern Connecticut State University program, Jeffrey led her charges to an overall record of 13-5, including sweeping all six Little East Conference oppositions. Her 13 single-season victories match the program’s third highest total in the past 12 years. Under her direction, the Warriors won the 2007 Little East Conference Tournament, defeating conference rival Plymouth State, 10-9, in the championship game on May 5. Eastern Connecticut is making its second appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Eastern Connecticut State University, Plymouth State University, and the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth each placed three student-athletes on the All-Conference first-teams, while Rhode Island College added a pair. Junior attacker Lily Anderson (Portland, Maine), senior midfielder Kara Bradley (North Haven, Conn.), and classmate goalie Erin Calkins (Stony Brook, N.Y.) represented the Warriors, while senior midfielders Annie Pinault (Framingham, Mass.) and Kelsey MacDonald, and junior defender Steph Blanchette (Sudbury, Mass.) earned recognition for the Panthers. Joining Elliot were teammates junior midfielder Marie Spang (Wakefield, Mass.) and freshman Liz Stapleton (Wakefield, Mass.), while junior defender Erin Duffy (North Dighton, Mass.) joined Gavin from the Anchorwomen. University of Southern Maine senior midfielder Virginia Flood (Acton, Maine) rounds out the top team. Eastern Connecticut State University and Western Connecticut State University each earned three sports on the second-team, while Keene State College, Plymouth State, and Southern Maine each were represented by two student-athletes. Senior attacker Meghan Feraco (Norwich, Conn.), sophomore defender Jackie Bivona (Middlebury, Conn.) and Taylor MacDonald garnered second-team praise for the Warriors, while junior midfielder Caitlin Everin (Glastonbury, Conn.), freshman midfielder Kara Kruczkiewicz (Brookfield, Conn.), and senior defender Jena Lung (Bethel, Conn.) earned accolades for the Colonials.
