Tina Dias and Nicole Sieber named to NEWISA All-New England Team

NASHUA, NH (Dec. 14)— Senior Tina Dias (Shelton, CT) and graduate student Nicole Sieber (Newtown, CT) have been named to the 2010 New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Division III All-New England All-Star Team.
Dias, a First-Team selection, was an integral part of one of the stingiest defenses in the nation during her final season. The Colonials allowed just 10 goals and set a program record with 13 straight shut outs while going 15-5-1.
Sieber, a graduate student participating in her final year of eligibility, finished third on the team with six goals and six assists for 18 total points. She was honored on the Second Team.
Western appeared in its ninth NCAA Division III Tournament this past November and captured its ninth Little East Conference Tournament title.
