Caitlin Avery posted a personal mark of 2-1 and a 0.68 goals against average in her first three matches of the
season for Western Connecticut.

The native of East Hampton, Conn. stopped 17 of the 19 shots she faced for a .895 save percentage. Avery made six saves in an overtime shutout victory against Vassar College, while stopping a season-high eight attempts in an overtime loss to Christopher Newport.
