Ashley Hutkowski and Caitlin Avery named Little East Conference Offensive and Goalkeeper of the Week, respectively

NORTH DARTMOUTH, MA (Oct. 17) —  Western Connecticut State University women's soccer players Ashley Hutkowski (Long Valley, NJ) and Caitlin Avery (East Hampton, CT) have been named Offensive Player of the Week and Goalkeeper of the Week for the week ending, October 16.

Ashley Hutkowski scored the game-winning goal in Wednesday's 1-0 road win over Scranton. The freshman midfielder scored a pair of goals in Saturday's 4-0 win over Little East rival Plymouth State.

Caitlin Avery (East Hampton, Conn.)

Caitlin Avery recorded her fifth shutout on the campaign in the win over Scranton (1-0) on Wednesday.  The East Hampton, Connecticut native then posted 71 minutes of scoreless action on Saturday against Little East rival Plymouth State.
