Theresa Canada, Department of Education & Educational Psychology
Dr. Theresa Canada, who is an Associate Professor in Education, has served on WestConn’s faculty since September of 1992. She is responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Social Foundations, Human Development, Educational Research, and Counselor Education. She served as the Graduate M.S. Degree Program Coordinator from 1993- 1994. Her research interests include cultural diversity in teacher and counselor education programs, African American educational leaders, urban education and equity. She received her B.A. and Ed.D degrees from University of Rochester, M.A. and M.Ed. degrees from Columbia University, Teachers College.
