Doreen A. Graham, Department of Nursing

Ms. Doreen Graham is a full time Associate Professor of Nursing at WCSU. Doreen has taught at WCSU as adjunct in the BSN program since 2009. Previously, Doreen taught at Fairfield University in both the undergraduate and master’s Family and Adult Nurse Practitioner program.

Doreen attended St. Joseph College in West Hartford, CT, graduating in 1983 with a Bachelors of Nursing. In 1993 she graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a Master’s in Nursing Education, in 1999 completed her Post Master’s Certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner from Fairfield University, and in 2020 completed her doctorate in Nursing Education from WCSU.

Doreen is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), the American College of Cardiology, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She is board certified in critical care (CCRN) since 1988, is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing center and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society. Doreen has worked as a critical care nurse with the trauma, general surgical, neurosurgical, and cardiothoracic surgery population. Doreen has been working as a Nurse practitioner in the both acute and adult cardiovascular population.
