Suggestion Box
Dear Campus Community,
On Monday, March 1, 2010, the UPBC met with Dr. Schmotter to discuss the current budget conditions within the CSU System, as well as the future economic challenges of the State of Connecticut for year 2012 and thereafter. As a result two recommendations were made:
- That university-wide priorities be identified as well as the criteria for evaluating programs and services. The Deans and Vice Presidents developed the priorities from our Strategic Plan and established two sets of criteria, both of which were vetted by UPBC.
- Create a website which would allow members of the WCSU community to offer up to five (5) essential characteristics of WCSU that they would want to keep during difficult economic times.
I invite you to offer your important ideas.
Please be aware that all students, faculty, and staff can give comments that will be posted as soon as possible and can be viewed by the Campus Community.
These ideas will be used to assist the university in refining the strategic priorities and planning statements as we move ahead during these challenging economic conditions that we foresee in the next two to five years. This is a step in an ongoing process.
