The Inter-Residence Hall Association, also known as IRHA, is an organization made up by and works for the resident population of Western Connecticut State University. The group puts on programs and activities throughout the year the resident of all six residence halls enjoy including Colonial Wars, which is huge competition between the halls. IRHA is funded by the money used for laundry and vending in the halls. This money is all used to give back to the WestConn community and make it a better place to live. If anyone has any ideas or issues that need to be addressed, he or she can bring it to the attention of the organization and IRHA will help in any way possible. The vision of the Inter-Residence Hall Association is “Serving as a Conduit to Resident’s Needs” and that is what they strive to do each year and make Western Connecticut State University a better place to live. IRHA meets Tuesdays at 9:00 PM in Centennial Hall Conference Room. (This description is written as a combination of the group's mantra as supplied to you and their purpose as stated in their constitution.)
