Honors and awards:  Received four-year scholarship from the Danbury Rotary clubs to attend WestConn; received Comcast Leadership and Achievement Scholarship freshman year and Thomas Purcell family scholarship — both one-year scholarships; Dean's List, spring and fall 2007; 3.75 GPA

Future plans:  Being elected to the CSUS Board of Trustees by the Student Government Association Senate at the end of my freshman year was a very memorable event. In the future, I hope to pursue a career in politics and find a job. I also hope to get a master’s degree.

WestConn has a lot of opportunities to offer and they are there for you to take advantage of. If you get involved on campus, the more likely you are to be successful both in and out of the classroom.”
