The Roger Sherman Debate Society is the name of WestConn's debate team, we made it to the quarterfinals of the junior varsity and novice national championships during the National Debate Tournament last spring at West Virginia University. At this meeting, my fellow debaters Fernando Franco, Schuyler Merritt, Chris DeZinno, Cara Masline and I were working on strategies for our upcoming debate with Cornell.
