This photo was taken during my Zoning Commission swearing-in ceremony at Broadview Middle School. Retired Appellate Court Justice Thomas West swore me and fellow commissioners in. This was exciting because it was the first time I watched the ceremony from the stage. I was seated with the most influential individuals in the city, all for whom I have the utmost respect and admiration.
