Biographical Information

M.S.W. Fordham University

Ms. Steinberg came to WestConn in 1992.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Mt. Holyoke College, and a master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University School of Social Service.  Ms. Steinberg has done doctoral studies at New York University in Higher Education Administration.

Ms. Steinberg has taught social work curriculum and family studies courses in undergraduate programs, and has done field advisement and coordination for graduate programs.  She sits on the Advisory Council for her Division of the National Association of Social Workers, has served three terms as a New York State representative to the Delegate Assembly, and is currently on its Political Action Committee.  She also sits on several community volunteer organization advisory boards.  Recent University service has included Enrollment Management and Assessment Committees, and she is currently on the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching Advisory Committee.
