Goals Achieved from Last Year
- Actively participate in the two major system-wide initiatives of Vista and Consolidated Security & Management Architecture.
- Reach the goal, over the next two years, of 100% technology-equipped classrooms with standard technology defined by the Information Technology Committee.
- Successfully bring the new Science Building online with respect to technology, relocation of faculty, and ongoing support and training for faculty and their initiatives.
- Offer a more user friendly process for students to gain access to our network resources from their residence hall rooms and home (ResNet and Remote) while still maintaining security and risk concerns.
- Deploy a new technology website with resources to assist students, faculty, and staff, as well as prospective students, faculty and staff.
- Invest additional time in our network and server infrastructure to improve services, reliability and security.
- Deploy WestConnduit, our campus portal.
- Continue to work with the Information Technology Committee to “Deliver a World of Technology.”
- Strengthen our Connected Learning Solution by expanding the services available online for students, faculty and staff.
- Manage within the UC budgets.
- Continue to strive in delivering better customer service.
- Work with UC staff on individual staff development and goals.
