Lost Usernames / Passwords
Windows Accounts
Any student currently registered can receive a Windows account by going to the Midtown Computer Center, the Westside Computer Center, or the Student Technology Training Center during operational hours. There is no charge for this account. If you need assistance with using your Windows account, please go to the Student Technology Training Center for support.
In the event that you forget your password, you may have it reset at any of the staffed computer facilities. Your student ID is required.
WestConn Email
Any student currently registered can receive a WestConn Email account by going to the Midtown Computer Center, the Westside Computer Center, or the Student Technology Training Center during operational hours. For those students who need assistance with using their WestConn Email account, workshops and tutorials are offered in the Student Technology Training Center throughout the semester. All students must have a Windows account before a WestConn Email account will be issued.
In the event that you forget your WestConn Email password, you may have it reset at any of the staffed computer facilities. Your student ID is required.
All students must present their WestConnect card at the time their WestConn Email account is created or their password is changed.
Banner PIN
Need your Banner PIN created or reset? Student Banner PIN creations and resets are now automated.
Click here to create or reset your Banner PIN and complete all fields in the form. Your Banner PIN will be sent to the e-mail address you specified.
It’s as easy as that! No more waiting in lines or having to drive to campus to get your PIN.
You may also have your Banner PIN created/reset at any of the staffed computer centers on campus:
webCT
WebCT is now accessible through WestConnduit only. In order to access you must have your Windows username and your six-digit Banner PIN. To access WebCT following the steps below:
Students' WebCT password is their six-digit Banner PIN. (Note: a Banner PIN cannot be changed through WebCT. This can only be done through the Banner Self Serve web page.)
If students cannot remember their Banner PIN, they can have it reset in any of the staffed computer centers on campus, as long as they show their student ID, (Midtown Computer Center WH 031, Westside Computer Center WS 117, Student Technology Training Center SC 225). They can also reset their Banner PIN themselves online at https://webapp.wcsu.edu/BannerPIN/PIN.html.
If a WCSU faculty member forgets his/her webCT login information: Send a message to 'Request University Computing' or call the University Computing Help Desk at x7-8467.
