Save Time ~ Save Money ~ Get College
Credit with CLEP
CLEP for
Military
Make the Most of Your
Education Benefits
The College-Level Examination Program® (CLEP) lets you earn college credit
for what you already know by earning qualifying scores on any of 33
introductory-level college subject examinations. Because the exams are
funded by the United States government through the Defense Activity for
Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES), you could save hundreds,
even thousands, of dollars toward your degree.
In other words, the CLEP examination fee will be
waived with proper identification; military personnel pay only the
administration fee.
CLEP for Veterans
CLEP allows veterans to receive college credit by earning qualifying scores
on any of 33 exams, allowing them to move directly into upper-level
courses, saving time and money. Veterans can make the most of their GI
Bill benefits by applying those funds toward needed courses. Earning
credit quickly provides flexibility in managing the complex demands of
jobs, families, and college-level course work.
