Four Steps to Taking the MAT Examination |

Step 1 - Register for the MAT Examination
Register as soon as possible by submitting the
registration form
along with the required fee.
Registration forms will not be accepted without payment.MAT exams are offered every 4 to 6 weeks throughout the year
except for summer months.

You will receive a
confirmation letter via email prior to selected test date.
All communication from the WCSU Test Center will be done through
email.

Students with Disabilities
- Check the appropriate box on the
registration form and attach your justification from your doctor.
Submit your registration form at least three weeks prior to the test

Testing
Sessions
Exams start promptly at 9:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm. Candidates are scheduled in the order their registration form
is received starting with the 9:00am session and rolling over
into the next available time. Candidates are required to arrive at
least 15 minutes prior to appointment time. You will not be admitted
after the testing session has begun. Late arrivers will need to
reregister and submit the non-refundable registration fee again so
plan accordingly.
Exams are administered at Western Connecticut State University
Westside Campus
43 Lake Ave Ext, Danbury CT in the Campus Center Computer Center on
the third floor.

The non-refundable/non-transferable MAT test fee includes an administration fee
and an exam fee. The fee must be submitted with the
registration form. Testing fees
are subject to change without notice.

Score Reports
Pearson does all the scoring and reporting of scores for the MAT, the
Testing Center is responsible for administering the test. You will
receive a print out of your raw score at the completion of the exam.

Information
Retaking MAT Examination
Candidates may repeat the MAT examination with a retake ticket
received from Pearson.
Individualized Testing Session
In the event that the dates posted is not convenient, you may
schedule an Individualized Testing Sessions at an additional fee of
$50 payable in cash only. Individual Testing Sessions may be
scheduled Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., upon
availability of the proctor and by appointment only. Please contact
