Amy Jones
[Director/Choreographer]
Amy Jones most recently served as co-choreographer/associate director for Bedbugs! The Comedy Sci-Fi Thriller Rock Musical at ATA Theatre in NYC. This past year, Amy directed/choreographed The Spitfire Grill and The Marvelous Wonderettes at Flat Rock Playhouse in NC, where she has been the resident vocal director and choreographer since 1999, working on numerous shows including The Producers, Hairspray, Children of Eden and All Shook Up. She is the associate musical director of the national tour of Girls Night The Musical and has provided dramaturgy for the new musicals Alice and Warsaw. At Western, Amy has directed and/or choreographed Almost, Maine, I Love a Piano, Best Little Whorehouse, and Cabaret, among others. She is a member of Actors’ Equity and the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.
