Design Technology/Set Design- a proud member of United Scenic Artists local 829 IATSE, NYC, Liz brings her professional skills to Westconn in all theatre design areas.
Her credits include Design for ABC TV (Wide World of Sports, 20/20, Primetime Live specials) She currently is the Set Designer for Good Morning America Weekend Edition. She was the designer for THE VIEW in its first year and has worked on such films as MEET JOE BLACK, BAIT and THE DEVILS OWN in the Art Direction Departments.
Her theatre credits include designs for Trinity Rep, Soho Rep, Gretna Theatre, Green Mt Theatre Guild as well as designs while teaching at Colgate University, Dalton School and Suffolk Community College, Jim Henson Associates as well as dozens of Industrial Productions for corporate product launches including RICOH, MERCK, NATIONAL CAR, ORTHO and MAERSK.
Her diverse background in all elements of entertainment design, brings to her teaching a multidirectional componant to those wanting to go into Theatre Design Technology. Since coming to Westconn in 2001, she has designed sets and/or costumes for over a dozen productions as indicated in our production pages and mentored many of our fine design oriented students into graduate schools.
