New Visual and Performing Arts Center

The new facility, expected to be complete in 2014 will house a 350-seat theater, a 150-seat black box theater, a 350-seat concert hall, an art gallery, a recording studio and state-of-the-art rehearsal, classroom and studio art facilities.

Kevin Sosbe

[Assistant Technical Director]

Kevin Sosbe is a WCSU alumnus (1990) with over 20 years of work in professional theatre. He is a member of local IATSE 74 Stage, and IATSE 52 Motion Pictures, starting his twelfth season this year as Head Scenic Carpenter at the Westport Country Playhouse this spring. Previous experience includes dozens of regional shows and national tours as a prop man and carpenter on shows such Contact, Liza Minelli, and The Harlem Nutcracker. He has built countless scenic elements for Broadway shows such as War Horse, Rent, American Idiot, All About Me, Anything Goes, The Best Man, and a couple dozen more.
